Developed by Play Pals Studios, The Weeknd x Roblox collaboration was the first Roblox game to receive a dedicated feature from IGN. The experience was created as a promotional event for The Weeknd's movie, Hurry Up Tomorrow, and featured music from the Hurry Up Tomorrow album. Gameplay consisted of a story prologue and a zombie shooter before the culminating virtual concert experience. As part of the collaboration, exclusive virtual merchandise themed around the artist was made available for players' avatars, and movie tickets were purchasable in-game.
